Your privacy is important to us. We appreciate the importance of protecting you from unauthorized use of any information provided in the course of doing business with us.

We will not give third parties individually identifiable information about you unless we need to do so to enforce this agreement, or we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority. We may also give our contractors access to individually identifiable information about you to enable them to assist us in our business, but we will require them to maintain the confidentiality of that information in accordance with this agreement.

In the course of your use of the site, you may submit information concerning your business and your healthcare contracts. We retain such data. You agree that all data that you submit to HealthCents becomes the exclusive property of HealthCents, and you authorize us to use and disclose that data in de-identified form (i.e., a form that does not identify you or your practice) for any purpose, including, without limitation, providing de-identified data to other users of our site, or using it to make recommendations to other users of our site, or in our other businesses. You agree that we may be remunerated for using or disclosing the data, and that you have no claim against us for royalties, fees or other compensation for the use of data you submit.

You further assume the responsibility and liability to adhere to the confidentiality in your payer (health insurance) agreements. In no event will HEALTHCENTS, INC., its affiliates, subsidiaries, and related companies, its advertising and promotional agencies, its directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, representatives, AND SUBCONTRACTORS be held accountable for your use of such data in this tool.  You agree to fully indemnify HEALTHCENTS, INC., its affiliates, subsidiaries, and related companies, its advertising and promotional agencies, its directors, officers, employees, attorneys, agents, representatives, AND SUBCONTRACTORS from any claims which may arise resulting from your use of such data in this tool.  Such data includes payer rates, your contracts, your amendments and other related documents.   Healthcents Inc. will not disclose your individual rates, contracts or other such information to other users of this tool.  However, your data and information is aggregated and these aggregations are revealed to other users of this tool, including but not limited to your payer rates, your answers to the business models, and your answers to the questionnaire in the tool.  

PPO Agreements,  Comparative Data, Contract Guidance and Business Models

This information and content is intended for the analysis of PPO agreements only (Not HMO, POS, Medicare and other payer products).  The comparative data provided on reports and in other parts of this tool, eg., comparison of your rates by CPT code to others in your Medicare Region (Locality), State or the USA is based solely on the accuracy of input by you and other users of this tool.  While the tool has basic constraint checking for outliers, Healthcents Inc. makes no guarantee of the accuracy of such data.  Similarly, state laws vary regarding the viability and legislation about in network vs. out of network decisions, term and termination and other contract guidelines.   You acknowledge and agree to be responsible for your use of any information coming out of this tool realizing that it is developed and used nationwide and all comparative data comes from end users of this tool.  You also acknowledge that rates that are not PPO based on entered incorrectly will be used in the aggregated calculations and as such may distort the results of the data provided.
